After several lengthy days to complete the amendments and implement the measures announced by the government, MPs will vote on the new "Covid law" this Wednesday afternoon.
In addition to the curfew (from 11pm to 6am) and the limitation of the number of people present in commercial areas (10m2 per customer) as well as in bars and restaurants (100 customers / four per table unless they live in the same accommodation), the text also provides for fines between €100 and €500 for any breach of these measures.
The number of people who can go to the homes of relatives is also limited to four people (unless they come from the same household) and new categories of beds are created to increase hospital capacity.
The law will enter into force on the day of its publication in the official journal and will remain in force until the end of the year (except for the curfew, which will end on the evening of 30 November).
