Compared to 2020, municipalities can expect a plus of 12% in this year’s endowment fund, which corresponds to €238 million. This means that finances are expected to return to their pre-pandemic levels.
Municipalities managed to make a significant number of investments again this year, even in spite of the pandemic. In general, not a single town has ended its ordinary budget with a deficit.
