The new signs will be installed along the motorway to Dudelange at the end of May, according to plans.

As part of the final stages of construction on the A3 motorway, which has undergone renovation over the past few years, new signage will be installed later this year. The signs should have been installed in March 2025, but have been delayed.

Currently, the Berchem service station is the location for the assembly of the signs. According to RTL sources, they will later be transported to their final destinations along the motorway for installation. In order to do so, however, large chunks of the motorway will have to be closed to traffic.

The Roads and Bridges Administration websites states that the poles for these signs will be installed on the A3 towards Metz on Friday morning, between 5am and 1pm. Further works will take place on the A3 towards Luxembourg City overnight from 16 to 17 March, from 5pm until 4am.

But the signs themselves will not be installed until May, the administration says, on the weekend of 22-26 May. This will see motorway closures in both directions between Bettembourg and Gasperich, with traffic diverted via the A13, A4, and A6.
