The main categories of the app comprise "Sanitary Warnings" and
"On Duty Emergency Services" - such as hospitals, pharmacies and medical homes, as well as the main emergency phone numbers. The latter point should make things easier for residents hoping to find out where the nearest emergency pharmacy or hospital is located.
The app provides a listing of the individual emergency numbers, including specialised contact numbers, for instance for antivenom services.
The app also allows users to test out vaccination cards, download an organ donor card, and view life-saving procedures.
The app is available on Apple or Google Play, says the Ministry.
