At 1.40am on Thursday morning, a lorry crashed into a house on Weltzerstrooss in Drauffelt. One person is said to have been injured.

According to initial reports, the road was icy and the lorry driver lost control of the vehicle. Emergency teams were despatched to the scene from Hosingen and Clervaux, while the road was closed to traffic. The fire brigade opted to leave the lorry in place overnight, in order to better assess the damage to the house after sunrise before removing the vehicle.

Two people were injured after two cars collided on the A3 near the Croix de Bettembourg at 6.35pm on Wednesday. Bettembourg ambulance and fire fighters were joined by a fire crew from Roeser to assist with the incident.

At around 9.20pm, a car crashed into a tree on the N13 between Rolling and Bous, causing material damage. No one was injured.

Fire fighters were called out to Leithum just before 11pm after a fire broke out at a house on Duarrefstrooss. Weiswampach and Clervaux fire crews extinguished the fire, while no one was injured.
