The incident occurred around 9.25pm near Mondorf-les-Bains. The Remich ambulance were on hand to treat the injured person, along with fire fighters from Mondorf and Aspelt.
Another person was injured in a car crash in Dudelange at 11pm, on Route de Thionville. An ambulance crew from Esch-sur-Alzette attended the scene, as well as Dudelange fire crews.
