
Emergency services from the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were called out to two incidents on Friday afternoon and overnight into Saturday.
A person was struck and injured by a car on Route de Luxembourg in Esch-sur-Alzette at around 5.20pm on Friday. Local first responders attended the scene to assist.
In the early hours of Saturday at 2.45am, emergency services were alerted to a road accident on the N8 between Saeul and Bruch. According to the CGDIS, a car collided with an unspecified object, resulting in one person being injured. Rescue teams from the Bavigne and Mersch emergency centres, as well as the Ettelbruck emergency medical service (SAMU), were despatched to the scene.
