
CFL's huge investment project continues throughout 2020.
Several major projects, notably that of Luxembourg City's central station, the Bettembourg route, as well as the redevelopment of certain stations into interchange hubs are on the programme this year, which will result in track closures and train cancellations.

The construction of the new Ettelbruck interchange and a Park+Ride in Mersch form part of the plans for this route. A number of track closures are planned for the week and weekends, particularly in April and the summer.
From Luxembourg to Dommeldange:
There will be no trains for four weekends at the end of the year: 3/4 and 10/11 October, as well as 5/6 and 12/13 December.
From Luxembourg to Ettelbruck:
Three weeks of closures are planned at the end of the summer holidays, from Saturday 22 August to Sunday 13 September. In addition, the line will be shut over the weekends of:

From Ettelbruck to Diekirch:
This route will be subjected to six weeks of closures as follows:
A number of weekends will also be subjected to closures and train cancellations:

Ettelbruck to Troisvierges:
There will be no trains running between Ettelbruck and Troisvierges for just over two weeks, from Saturday 4 April to Sunday 19 April. Weekends are affected as follows:

Luxembourg City to Oetrange:
Oetrange to Trier: no trains on 14-15 and 21-22 November.
Wecker to Trier: no trains from Saturday 4 April to Sunday 19 April.
Wasserbillig to Trier: no trains on 26-27 September and 17-18 October.
Belgian cross-border workers and residents of the west of the country will be deprived of trains for three weeks this year, during school holidays:

The main section of lines 60 and 90 between Luxembourg and Bettembourg will be closed for ten weekends:

Between Esch-sur-Alzette and Rodange: track closures for two weeks:

No trains between Luxembourg and Hollerich for certain weekends:
Luxembourg to Dippach-Reckange: track closures on 19-20 September and 24-25 October.
There will be no trains from Luxembourg to Pétange on 16-17 and 23-24 May.
There will be no trains between Rodange and Athus on 6-8 November and 13-15 November.
The main section of lines 60 and 90 between Luxembourg and Bettembourg will be closed for ten weekends:
