The fight broke out near the tills in the gallery of the shopping centre. Once the police had broken up the brawl, officers asked how it had started.
Allegedly, three girls began to fight and pull each others' hair. Then the boys got involved and the fight escalated to a brawl. Around ten teenagers between the ages of 14 and 18 were involved in total.
Security officers worked to keep the fighting teenagers apart until police officers arrived. One of the girls involved had to go to hospital for a routine check-up.
The other youths were taken to the police station for questioning.
The police informed the parents of all the teenagers involved of the incident.
