
A truck driver was driving erratically on route de Trèves in Grevenmacher around 7.45 pm. At 1.40 am, another motorist was stopped on the same road, for the same reason.
Around 2.25 am, a police patrol followed a driver who gave them the middle finger. The individual in question parked his vehicle outside a pub, where the police asked him to undergo a breathalyser test. Not only did the test come back positive, but it turned out the man was also banned from driving.
A motorist was stopped on Route de Thionville in Dudelange around 3.15 am, and another one on Rue Pasteur in Luxembourg City at 5.00 am. The latter had parked his car partly on the sidewalk. With the motor still running, the man was trying to fix a flat tyre. According to the police, he smelled strongly of alcohol.
All drivers had to hand over their licenses to the police.
