According to reports, two individuals gained access to a property in Waldbredimus via the patio door on Thursday evening. They searched several rooms and escaped with jewellery and a safe.
Shortly afterwards, police received word of a break-in at a flat in Bridel, on Rue de Luxembourg. Three suspects were involved, one of whom climbed up the side of the building and gained access to the flat via a terrace door, while the other two kept watch below. A neighbour spotted the three burglars and raised the alarm, leading the three individuals to flee the scene. A search was launched but without success.
Investigations have been launched into both cases.
