According to a police statement, a special unit was deployed in Frisange on Sunday afternoon to handle an incident in which a person is said to have barricaded themselves within their home. The unit, which specialises in crisis management, was accompanied by negotiators.
An apartment building was cordoned off as officers entered the premises to bring the person out, a spokesperson said. The operation was concluded at around 3.15pm. No one was injured as a result.
