In a press release, the SNPGL announced that the minister had yet to propose 'acceptable' compensation measures for police working hours. The long-standing dispute concerns the new working hour accounts system, which limits the number of overtime hours.

The trade union went on to deplore the lack of personnel within the police. The SNPGL emphasised that 600 individuals had applied at the B1 level, which in turn confirmed the fact that there is no issue finding Luxembourgish candidates.
