CHL's director Romain Nati explained via Facebook that, following the coronavirus crisis, the hospital's maternity ward had set up a system that would allow mothers to return home as quickly as possible. Specialised teams will look after the new mothers at home.
This move can occur within 24 to 48 hours, depending on how urgent each case might be. This means that, while mothers and their babies will be allowed to stay longer where necessary, they will otherwise be treated at home by a gynaecologist.
