Emergency services responded to several road accidents and a kitchen fire between Friday evening and early Saturday, with seven people injured in total.

At around 6.05pm on Friday, two cars collided on the N23 between Osper and Hostert, leaving both drivers injured. Paramedics from Redange and Mersch, as well as firefighters from Redange, attended the scene to assist.

Shortly after, at around 7.20pm, a van overturned on the CR143 between Grevenmacher and Oberdonven. Two people were injured in the accident, with one of them having to be freed from the vehicle by rescuers. The incident required a significant emergency response, involving firefighters from Flaxweiler and the Grevenmacher-Mertert operations centre, paramedics from Luxembourg City and Echternach, and the air rescue helicopter.

At 8.18pm, emergency crews were called to a kitchen fire on rue Hollerich in Luxembourg City. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, while paramedics treated one person injured during the incident.

In the early hours of Saturday, shortly after 2.30am, two cars collided head-on on the N16 between Mondorf-les-Bains and Ehlange-Gare, resulting in two people being injured. Emergency services from Remich and Bettembourg, firefighters from Mondorf-les-Bains and Frisange, and the Esch emergency medical team (SAMU) responded to the crash.
