RTL employees and several public figures cycled at RTL City on Friday as part of a Télévie challenge to raise money for cancer research. The event began at midday and ran until 7pm, with stationary bikes set up right outisde the RTL television studios.
For every kilometre pedalled, RTL pledged to donate €5, with all funds going directly to Télévie.
Télévie is a nationwide fundraising campaign supporting the fight against cancer. The main annual Télévie event will take place on 18 April across various centres throughout the country.
The campaign’s final total will be revealed later that evening when the Télévie donation counter is announced. More information is available on the official Télévie website.
