Minister Delegate for Tourism Eric Thill joined representatives from partner municipalities, local stakeholders, and participants at Goebelsmuehle station on Saturday to officially launch the seventh edition of Vëlosummer.
This annual event is part of the "Lëtzebuerg, dat ass Vakanz" ("Luxembourg, that's a holiday") campaign, which aims to encourage both residents and tourists to discover Luxembourg from a new perspective.
This year's Vëlosummer will take place from 18 July to 16 August, offering around 500 kilometres of cycling routes across the country.
The 2025 edition saw some 43,000 participants. Further information and all practical details about the programme can be found at velosummer.lu.
