Will the government impose a new lockdown on Luxembourg residents? When asked about possible measures the government could take, the Minister of Health said she did not want to blindly imitate the decisions of other countries.

However, Lenert did not hide the fact that the situation was "very tense" in Luxembourg and could "change at any moment". While she admitted that the situation was not as serious as in other countries, she stressed that the government would monitor the expected effects of measures already taken, such as the curfew and harsher contact restrictions, stating that Luxembourg did have "a small lead, but not a big one".

Regarding the long queues in front of laboratories, Lenert said she understood the dissatisfaction of citizens. According to her, the problem is mainly caused by a lack of available personnel. Other health professionals, such as psychologists, will now be allowed to carry out tests, but this will be an exceptional measure.
