General Directorate for Small and Medium-sized EnterprisesState compensation for increased minimum wage expires on 30 September
As announced in a statement published by the General Directorate for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises on Tuesday morning, the state compensation for the increase in the minimum wage for businesses expires on 30 September 2021.

This aid was introduced at the beginning of 2021 in the form of a one-off tax-exempt bonus for a single month. It was intended to reduce the financial impact of the minimum wage increase on the companies that have suffered most from the health crisis.
To date, €1.5 million has been paid out by the State under this aid scheme.
