The first road accident took place at 6.15 p.m. on the CR110 between Lalleng and Ehlerange. Two cars collided, which left just as many people injured. The second accident occurred an hour later in the Aessen tunnel on the A13 motorway, direction of Ehlerange. Again, two people were injured, though only one car was involved in the accident.
The third reported accident was a collision between two vehicles, which crashed around 9.45 p.m. in Rue Mathias Koener in Esch-sur-Alzette. Emergency services were further called into action when a fire broke out in an apartment in Rue du Commerce in Mamer. One person was injured.
