According to CGDIS (Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps), a fire broke out in an apartment on Rue Principale in Bigonville in the early house of Friday morning.

The fire broke out at 4am in an apartment above a restaurant, injuring three in the process.

48 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire, eventually managing to get it under control at 5.40am. However, according to a press release, firefighters were still at the scene at 6.45am to fully extinguish the fire as well as check nearby homes for damage.

Ambulances from Wiltz and Redange were at the scene alongside the Ettelbruck first responders (Samu). The firefighters came from Rambrouch, Ell, Redange, Wiltz, Grosbous, Préizerdaul , and Grevels.

The emergency services reported an additional incident early on Thursday evening. A car crashed on Rue de Beggen in Luxembourg City, leaving one person injured.
