According to reports, the road was completely closed off to traffic to allow access for emergency teams. Two Luxembourg City ambulances attended the scene, accompanied by Kopstal firefighters. The collision involved three vehicles.
At 6.30am on Thursday morning, a car collided with a post in Pétange, leaving one person injured. Sanem-Differdange paramedics assisted at the scene, alongside Pétange firefighters.
