According to initial reports, three people were injured in the incident. One patient was brought to hospital with burns, while two others suffered smoke inhalation.
Emergency services from Rumelange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Kayl, Schifflange, Dudelange and Bettembourg all attended the incident.
Another fire was reported earlier on Tuesday, on Rue Bender in the capital. A kitchen fire occurred around 4.45pm.
One person was injured in a collision between two vehicles shortly before 6pm, on Rue de Medernach in Larochette.
