A police patrol was dispatched to the scene after the alert at 2.20 am, arriving to the side door of the butcher's standing wide open. The police launched a search and were able to do arrest two suspects in Erpeldange. A third was found in a car in Diekirch and taken into custody.
All three men were arrested at the order of the public prosecutor's office and presented to the investigating magistrate on Monday.
