The defendant was taken to court by his employer as he had requested leave from work for being 'tired', which was refused by the employer. Following the refusal, the man then falsified a doctor's certificate and handed it in to his employer. The firm noticed the falsification and submitted a complain against the employee.
The court sentenced the man to a three-month suspended prison sentence and an €800 fine.
