
During this meeting, those invited were able to present their demands as well as offer suggestions to the Minister. However, the latter did not answer any questions.
The leaders of the trade union of education staff working specifically in the interests of pupils with special needs (SPEBS) were, however, expecting just that from the minister: explanations in regard to contact tracing or Covid-19 tests for staff. In the end, this was not the case.
Thus, SPEBS now demands a more coherent, transparent, and reasonable approach from Meisch. According to trade union officials, this was the only way to ensure that measures would be better accepted, understood, and put into practice by citizens.
