Start and finish of stage 1 on Tuesday, 14 September 2021
The fictitous start of stage 1 with presentation of the competitors will be at 12:30 in front of d'Coque on Rue Léon Thungen. The route will take the cyclists along Boulevard Konrad Adenauer, Boulevard Prince Charles, Rue du Kirchberg, Rue Munchen-Tesch and Route d'Echternach (real start in Dommeldange, near the Parc Hotel Alvisse on the N11), where they will exit the city and travel towards Waldhaff.
The cyclists will be escorted by the Grand Ducal Police.
Towards the end of stage 1, the cyclists will re-enter the city and race along Route d'Echternach, Rue Munchen-Tesch, Rue de Kirchberg, Boulevard Prince Charles and Boulevard Konrad Adenauer. The cyclists are expected to cross the finish line on Boulevard Konrad Adenauer (intersection with Rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi) between 15:40 and 16:20.

Changes to AVL bus services
Please note the following changes to municipal bus services between 9:00 and 20:00 on Tuesday, 14 September 2021:

Finish of stage 5 on Saturday, 18 September 2021
For the finish of stage 5, the cyclists will enter the city via the CR215 (new Rue de Bridel) and continue along Rue du Rollingergrund, Rue Albert Unden, Avenue du Bois, Rue des Glacis, Avenue Victor Hugo, Rue Michel Lentz, Rue Evrard Ketten, Avenue de la Faïencerie, Rue de Rollingergrund, Rue de Kopstal (N12), the CR181 and the CR215. The cyclists are expected to cross the finish line between 13:30 and 16:00 at Place Laurent on Avenue Victor Hugo in Limpertsberg.

Changes to AVL bus services
Please note the following changes to municipal bus services on Saturday, 18 September 2021:
Bus line 2: Buses heading to Limpertsberg will, after calling at "Theater Quai 1", be diverted via Avenue du Bois, Rue Frantz Seimetz, Avenue Joseph Sax and Rue Nicolas Liez towards the final stop ("Lycée Michel Lucius Quai 2").
Instead of calling at "Lycée des Garçons Quai 1", "Alen Tramsschapp Quai 1", "Square André Quai 1", "Waassertuerm Quai 1", "Avenir Quai 1" and "Siggy vu Lëtzebuerg", buses will call at "Guillaume Schneider", "Bois", "Wassertuerm Quai 3" and "Square André Quai 2".
Buses heading from Limpertsberg to Hamilius will, after leaving from "Lycée Michel Lucius Quai 2", be diverted via Avenue Pasteur and Allée Scheffer towards "Theater Quai 2".
Instead of calling at "Avenir Quai 2", "Waassertuerm Quai 2", "Square André Quai 2", "Alen Tramsschapp Quai 2" and "Lycée des Garçons Quai 1", buses will call at "N.S. Pierret", "Alfred de Musset" and "Allée Scheffer" on Avenue Pasteur.
Lines 2, 8 and 30: Buses will not call at stops in Limpertsberg. After calling at "Theater", buses will terminate at the bus parking area on Avenue de la Faïencerie.
In both directions, buses will not call at "Lycée de Garçons", "Alen Tramsschapp", "Square André", "Waassertuerm", "Avenir", "Siggy vu Lëtzebuerg", "Lycée Michel Lucius", "Faïencerie/INL", "Henri VII", "Ermesinde", "Uni Campus Limpertsberg" or "Batty Weber".
Bus line 21: Buses will not call at certain stops in Rollingergrund/Belair-Nord, or the districts of Mühlenbach and Eich. Coming from the city centre, after calling at "Val Fleuri", buses will be diverted via Val Saint André, Rue Alexandre Fleming and Rue Thomas Edison towards a temporary final stop on Rue des Primeurs.
In both directions, the stops "Val St André", "Roudebierg", "Villeroy & Boch", "Peiffeschbierg", "Siwemuergen", "Eecher Schmelz", "École Eich", "Eecher Plaz" and "Eich Centre Culturel" will not be served. Instead, buses will call at a temporary stop outside Nos. 6–8, val St André as well as the terminus "Strassen, Primeurs".
