The association welcomes the position taken by Minister for Internal Security Henri Kox (The Greens), who suggested that instead of hiring a private firm, one could invest into advanced training for traffic wardens so that they may take over the task of patrolling the Gare neighbourhood.

Kox made the proposition in during an interview with newspaper Tageblatt, where he questioned the legality of the decision to hire an external party. He further announced that he will meet with Minister of the Interior Taina Bofferding (LSAP) in the coming days to discuss this pathway. Pascal Ricquier, president of the police union SNPGL, supports the idea as well.
