At around 4pm on Thursday, a driver was pulled over in Grevenmacher and asked to take a breathalyser test. After it came back positive, the driver was fined and had to hand over their driving licence.
In Luxembourg City, a driver was pulled over shortly before 1am on early Friday morning and also turned out to be inebriated. While checking the motorist, the officers also discovered that they were subject to a partial driving ban. The car was seized and the driver was fined.
