Police discovered the two victims on Avenue Monterey, around 9.15pm on Saturday. The attackers had forced one of the victims to take off her jogging trousers, and later hit them when they tried to call for help.
The police officers were able to apprehend one of the attackers shortly thereafter, who still had the stolen objects on her. These were seized and returned to the rightful owners. The woman was arrested by order of the prosecutor’s office and appeared before the judge on Sunday morning. Her accomplice could not be located; the search continues.
