Police arrested the two men on Avenue de la Liberté and on Rue André Duscher in Luxembourg City last night. One of the two suspects tried to discard a number of cocaine pellets as he was running away from police. Officers seized the drugs.
Both men were found to have entered the country illegally. An official entry ban had already been issued against one of them.
The public prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of the two suspects. They are facing an examining magistrate this Monday.
