Not long after, the police received a further report from witnesses, detailing a fire in the same building. As the police officers arrived at the scene, they confirmed the presence of heavy smoke on the ground floor of the house, as well as fire.
In the building, officers encountered two men. One of the men fled whilst the other gave no resistance and allowed the officers to arrest him. The man who attempted to flee did not make it far before officers caught up with him.
The police officers also examined the rest of the house, confirming that the fire began on the second floor. The authorities managed to extinguish the fire before more damage occurred.
Both men were fined and the police's forensics team arrived to examine the building.
