The MP from the Pirate Party commented on the recent tension between party colleague Daniel Frères and Sanem Deputy Mayor Simone Asselborn-Bintz.

Aside from being a member of the Pirate Party, Frères also heads up the animal rights organisation "Give us a Voice". The organisation recently shared a letter from an unidentified author on its page, which was designed to smear Asselborn-Bintz for putting her dog down:

RTL Today: Deputy mayor of Sanem incensed by cyber bullyingOur colleagues from RTL talked to MP Clement from the Pirate Party about the incident, as well as Asselborn-Bintz' decision to file a lawsuit against unknown persons for death threats.

The politician noted: "Honestly, I would not have written such a post. However, it was not shared on the site of the party, which is why I don't think we need to take immediate action of any kind. We will wait for the results of the enquiry, maybe it will turn out that everything is completely made up, just like Ms Asselborn-Bintz says. I will also have a serious conversation with Daniel Frères to see if there was anything to the letter."
