The incident took place shortly after 10pm on Wednesday 3 November. A man dressed in black and wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the petrol station and threatened the clerks with a firearm. After emptying the cash register, the robber fled on foot.
The perpetrator was described as being extremely tall. No shot was fired from his weapon, and police have not yet widened the search area to also search for the man across the border.
Potential witnesses should contact the local police department to provide information on the possible identity of the armed robber.
