
The body of a woman was discovered in the nature reserve "Gielen Botter" in Niederkorn on the evening of 31 March 2019. Requiring the help of the public to identify the victim, police launched an appeal for witnesses on Friday afternoon.
According to police descriptions, the woman was 173 cm tall and weighed around 90kg. She wore long dark hair tied with a dark hairband.
At the time of her death, she was wearing a black North Face Dry Vent jacket, a black wool jumper by S.Oliver, dark trousers by Canda and Puma walking shoes in size 40.5.
She was also wearing a gold cross necklace bearing the inscription "INRI", as well as a gold medallion depicting the mother of Jesus.
According to the investigators, the body is likely to have been in the same place for several days. Police therefore estimate that the woman disappeared before 31 March 2019.
