The yellow heat alert will be in place in the entire country from 1pm to 7pm. According to Meteolux predictions, temperatures are expected to range between 30°C and 32°C, and may even reach 33°C alongside the Moselle river.
The forecast also warns that ozone levels may exceed the European information threshold of 180 µg/m³. Meteolux has therefore issued an orange alert.
Although rain if forecast for Monday, Luxembourg’s meteorological service only anticipate 3-5 litres per square metre.
