The young pedestrian was walking on Rue Tour Jacob towards Cents and crossed the road behind a bus. An oncoming car crashed into the pedestrian, the impact of which threw the teenager against a car coming in the other direction.
The victim was attended to at the scene before being taken to hospital. According to the police, initial information reveals that the injuries are not life threatening. The accident led to traffic being blocked for around 20 minutes. Initially, the victim was reported as being seriously injured. Later, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps confirmed the victim had only sustained light injuries.
