Few groups have made quite the impact on music and popular culture in recent years as Kneecap.
Made up of Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí, the trio have built a reputation for their energetic live performances, provocative humour and a distinctive mix of Irish and English-language rap.
Their music brings together hip-hop, electronic beats and an unmistakable Belfast attitude, while their lyrics tackle everything from identity and politics to language, nightlife and everyday life in Northern Ireland.
Following their acclaimed debut album Fine Art and the success of their award-winning, self-titled biopic, Kneecap returned in 2026 with their second album, FENIAN.
Produced by Dan Carey, the record sees the trio broaden their sound, drawing on acid house, trip-hop, dubstep and rap.
While their trademark humour and political commentary remain central, FENIAN also explores community, cultural identity and the importance of keeping the Irish language alive.
It's another step forward for a band who have brought Irish-language music to international audiences without compromising their identity.
Kneecap's live shows have become a major part of their appeal, combining huge beats, crowd participation and an infectious energy that has taken them from smaller venues to major festival stages.
They'll bring that atmosphere to Rockhal on Friday, November 6th, for a concert presented by den Atelier.
