"Accidental" ice barSwedish man sets out to rescue barbecue from snow - "accidentally" builds ice bar
Joacim Ljadas from Rödåsel in northern Sweden intended to dig his barbecue out from beneath a layer of snow, but "got a bit carried away" and ended up building an ice bar in his garden.
In an interview with local news website VK, Ljadas says that got a bit carried away digging his barbecue out from under the snow, and ended up making an ice bar in his garden.
He documented the process on Facebook, where he revealed that he inaugurated the new bar by serving up a plate of Suovas (a dish made from dry-salted, smoked reindeer meat) and pouring himself a ‘winter-version’ of the classic cosmopolitan, which he named ‘Frostmopolitan': “it consists of Malinou/Baccardi and pineapple juice in place of Cointreau/vodka and cranberry juice. Important to frost the rim of the glass!”
Have we reached peak Sweden?
