Another action-packed week with film festivals for older children, Easter egg hunts for younger ones, and a wide range of cultural and practical activities.

Monday

Aimed at children and families, the Easter Egg Hunt 2026 invites participants to set off on a playful search organised by the municipal libraries of the City of Aubange, where Lilou the storytelling bunny returns with three new mysterious and magical tales.

Participants can explore three walking routes across Athus, Halanzy, and Rachecourt, choosing to complete one or more while searching for hidden eggs and discovering Lilou’s stories along the way. At the end of each route, participants will be asked a few questions and receive a small chocolate reward.

The hunt runs until 4 April 2026. Participants can collect a hunt booklet from one of the Aubange libraries, which includes walking maps and a participation form. Completed forms must be returned to a library by 4 April to receive a prize.

A closing celebration will take place on 6 April 2026 from 10.00 at the Clémarais estate, featuring Easter-themed games, activities, storytelling and a prize draw.

Participants are advised to follow basic safety rules, including staying on pavements, crossing at designated crossings, respecting traffic signs, and avoiding private property.

Tuesday

Just over the border, a contemporary reworking of Swan Lake will take to the stage at the Maison de la Culture d’Arlon on 24 March at 20.30, as Europa Danse Company presents a bold reinterpretation of the classic ballet.

Performed by fifteen young professional dancers, the production revisits the tragic love story of Siegfried and Odette, blending classical technique with contemporary movement. Choreographed by Laurent Drousie, the piece explores the tension between purity and illusion, drawing on the enduring duality of good and evil.

Audiences are invited to gather at the MCA bar from 19.30 before the performance and again afterwards, offering a chance to reflect on this modern interpretation.

Tickets and reservations are available via the Maison de la Culture d’Arlon website.
