ALVA has issued a recall notice for the "Crevettes Madagascar Label Rouge" prawns, by the brand "Signature du poissonnier", sold in Grand Frais shops. This is due to the potential presence of listeria bacteria.
The affected products were sold between 30 August and 2 September. "Listeria monocytogenes" can trigger fever or gastroenteritis, and are particularly dangerous for pregnant women or the medically vulnerable.

In addition, ALVA has also issued a recall notice for selected prepared salads sold in Auchan supermarkets. The salads could contain foreign bodies. The items affected are the 1kg, 500g and 300g coleslaw pots or the "Piemontaise Jambon" salads sold in 1kg pots.
