A new exhibition exploring themes of memory, diaspora and belonging opens on Friday, 29 May at 6.30pm at the Rainbow Center's exhibition space. The show primarily features analogue photography by Nuria R. Gomes. Entry is free, and the exhibition will run until 6 July.

Declared by The Guardian as "one to watch", Manchester musician Antony Szmierek has been gaining attention since the release of his debut album Service Station at the End of the Universe. Blending spoken word with indie beats, the artist will perform at Rotondes in Luxembourg City on Thursday, 28 May. Doors open at 8pm and tickets are still available for €29.

Local and international comedians will take to the stage at Carlitos Comedy Club in Luxembourg City on Friday for an evening of dark and twisted humour. Performers include Canadian comedian Dan Belkin, Luxembourg-based Turkish comedian Jerry Tosun, and Luxembourg's own Scott Reuter. The show will last approximately two hours, with doors opening at 8pm. Tickets cost €14–€16 online and €20 at the door.

The fifth annual Children’s Festival marks the start of Children's Week, during which institutions ranging from day-care centres to maisons relais invite children and parents to take part in different activities and workshops.
Visitors to the festival at Neumünster Abbey can choose from 24 activities on Saturday alone, ranging from workshops focussed on diversity to age-appropriate escape games. The festival runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
Children’s Week itself continues until 5 June, with additional activities taking place across Luxembourg.

The fifth edition of the Usina festival will take over Dudelange on Saturday, 30 May. Visitors can look forward to performances from German indie rock band Giant Rooks, English Midlands group Chartreuse, and Luxembourgish pop-rock act Low Density Corporation.
Festival-goers can also enjoy a fairground, street performances, workshops and a variety of food stands. The first act takes the stage at 2pm, while Schaman is set to close the festival with a set starting at 11pm.

Developed in the 1990s by choreographer and dancer Frey Faust, the Axis Syllabus was originally created to promote dancers’ health before evolving into what organisers describe as “a tool for achieving virtuosity and enhancing the pleasure of movement”.
Several instructors will lead five classes taking place between 27 and 31 May. Each day explores a different movement concept, with sessions running from 10am to 12.30pm. Prices range from €75 to €175.

Starting 30 May and running until 9 June visitors of Mëllerdall can discover the Nature park through a series of activities. On Saturday's schedule is a family focused nature rallye in Heffingen, where visitors can explore the traces of the past through fossils. On Sunday a clay workshop will take place in Schrondweiler, bringing geology closer to youngsters by exploring mysterious fossil oyster.
Running from 30 May to 9 June, Mëllerdall Days invites visitors to discover the region through a series of outdoor activities and workshops.
