People who have recently moved to Luxembourg – or are still finding their feet after a few years – are invited to a one-stop event designed to make settling in simpler and less stressful. Getting Settled Luxembourg will take place on Saturday, 14 March, from 11am–4pm at St George’s International School in Hamm.

The event will bring together key organisations, services, and community groups under one roof, offering face-to-face guidance and practical advice for life in the Grand Duchy.

Organised in partnership with RTL Today and RTL Today Radio, those attending will also be able to finally put a face to the name of familiar RTL voices.

Hosted at St George’s International School in the Elsy Jacobs building, the expo will feature exhibitors from a wide range of sectors, including banking and finance, housing support, healthcare and insurance, telecommunications, language schools, crèches and childcare providers, as well as community organisations, social groups, and sporting clubs.

In addition to exhibition stands, visitors can take part in workshops, talks, and Q&A sessions aimed at giving newcomers the tools and confidence to navigate everyday life in Luxembourg. The organisers say the goal is to help people avoid common pitfalls and access reliable, trusted information from the outset.

In a statement, St George’s Principal Zeba Clarke says the initiative aims to reflect Luxembourg’s diverse and international character. “Half of Luxembourg’s population was born in another country and in Luxembourg City, that figure is even higher at almost 75%. There is an enormous wealth of information and lived experience in our community and we wanted to share that with those who are still finding their way”, she notes.

The event is open to anyone new to Luxembourg or looking to feel more settled, whether they “arrived last week or within the past few years”. Entry is free and no prior registration is required.

A limited number of exhibition spaces are still available for organisations, services, and businesses that would like to take part. Further information can be found at st-georges.lu or by emailing events@st-georges.lu.

This morning Zeba Clarke, Principal at St Georges, joined RTL Today Radio to talk about this upcoming expo.
