Unavoidable impact10-year old hit by car in Differdange on Tuesday

On Tuesday evening shortly after 5 pm, a 10-year-old child was knocked down and injured in Avenue Charlotte in Differdange.

A 10-year-old boy was riding a scooter on a zebra crossing behind a bus when he was hit by a slow-moving car who was unable to brake in time.

The child was taken to hospital for examination.

CGDIS also reports an accident on Tuesday evening shortly after 7pm in Hosingen in the Happerfeld industrial estate. A motorbike and a car were involved and the motorcyclist injured his arm and was taken to hospital for examination. The driver of the car tested positive for alcohol. No licence was revoked.

Another accident occured in Differdange, in Rue de Hussigny, when a car driver ran over a female pedestrian and hit her foot. This young woman went to hospital for examination. The car driver told the police that she did not see the pedestrian.

112 reports two accidents on Wednesday morning. Two cars collided in Crauthem in Rue de Bettembourg at around 7.30 am. There was only property damage.

Around 7:40 am on Wednesday morning, two cars collided between Mondorf-les Bains and Burmerange. Two people were injured.
