Diekirch court10 year prison sentence for break-in at Charles Goerens' house

A young man was sentenced to 10 years in prison in relation to a break-in at the home of Luxembourg MEP Charles Goerens and his wife.

The man was in court charged with theft committed with violence.

The accused and an accomplice had broken into the politician's home through a patio door, stealing credit cards, €1,000 and also took a car in the process.
