A total of 283 controls were completed, covering 197 companies on 174 different building sites.

The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) forced 13 companies to halt work immediately, as they continued projects without authorisation during the collective leave period in August.

55 building sites were further closed for not adhering to safety and health regulations.

A fine of €25,000 was handed out to one employer for employing 10 individuals illegally. Furthermore, one company had employed a teenager under the age of 16, and one business a child under the age of 15.
