They were convicted of brutally robbing the two elderly people in Belair, taking jewellery worth nearly €900.000. They had observed the couple beforehand at a shopping mall in Bertrange, as shown on CCTV footage.
In addition to the prison sentence they are supposed to pay damages of €256.000 to the couple and around half a million Euro to the insurance company.
