Impressive archive material1899-1954: Pictures capture historic Schueberfouer days

Black-and-white pictures archived by the Photothèque de la Ville de Luxembourg depict the first flashy stalls, suited men in bumper cars, fancy guests and monkeys on a cart.

The Photothèque, which was established by the City of Luxembourg in 1984 and manages over 5 million photographs, published a series of pictures on their social media platform in August. The pictures were taken between 1899-1954.
