A head-on collision between a motorbike and a car occurred on the N15 between Fond de Heiderscheid and Buderscheid, in the north of Luxemburg at around 6 pm on Tuesday evening. The 19-year-old motorcyclist died on the spot as a result of the accident.
The road was blocked in both directions during the intervention of the police and rescue services, which caused traffic jams. A helicopter was despatched to the site.
The ACL advised motorists "with local knowledge" to avoid the area.
