The fire department received the emergency call at about 7 AM. The fire inside a garage had caused the formation of substantial smoke clouds which were disrupting traffic on Lasauvage's main road.
Once on site, fire fighters noticed that a second garage had also caught fire. One vehicle went up in flames, but no one was injured.
An investigation is expected to be opened in order to determine the exact circumstances of the fire.
